Kory attended her friends funeral. Knowing that she will never see or talk to her again, the thought about how she can let out her caustic attitude towards her parents out was continuously running through her mind. It was already bad that the college fund was gone. The thing was the fund was to go to the same school as Deaja, her best friend. After a year, she slowly started recovering. Kory's heart was still in pain with everything. Nothing would be the same again.

My Story
"Listen carefully," he said, "This won't be easy for you to hear..." Kory tried to allow herself to prepare for what was about to be told. She tried to imagine what could possibly be worst then losing her best friend to leukemia that day. Her dad began to tell her what happened, "I found out that we do not have enough money to pay for the rest of your college funds and they are kicking you out for the debt." Her stomach turned as if she ate something rotten that day. Kory was stunned and could do nothing but cry and run into her room. She hated her family and did not talk to neither her mother or father. All she ate was crackers and drink water. Nothing could have made her day worst then the lost of her friend and college education.
