Who Put The Rose There

Upon arriving at the crime scene, there laid a rose where the body lied.  It was freshly cut.  "Who put the rose there?" people thought.  People knew that the red rose was a symbol of love or passion.  But, could this rose mean something else?  The person whom died here was a serial killer and rapist.  Could somebody really love him for that?  Was the dead guy a role model for someone who was watching this vicious situation take place?  So many questions with so little answers.
A day went by, the citizens were demanding questions about the rose and did not mind any business to the deceased rapist killer.  That same day the police got a call, "This is the police. What is your emergency?" The phone broke in silence.  Nobody replied back.  All of a sudden, the silence was broken, it was a little girls voice.  The little girl responded with, "I am the one who placed the red rose at the scene yesterday."  The police questioned why she had did that and if she knew what that guy did.  Softly asserting that she was the most recent rape victim.  The rose was placed there because she forgave him for what he did and thought he should be given another chance.  DNA was taken from the guy and results came back weeks later, it proved that the little girl who placed the rose there was the daughter of the serial killer and rapist.
